Active roof systems

We are working with the National Federation of Roofing Contractors to promote and facilitate the use of photo voltaics (PV), solar thermal, safety features and other active roof systems.

The main suppliers of PV systems recommend that roofing contractors with a well trained workforce, such as Wensley Roofing, are the best people to fix most equipment to roofs.

We can install a range of active roofing systems on pitched and flat roofs so that the systems are integrated into the main roofing materials.

We are communicating with designers and suppliers, and developing specialist training programmes, to ensure that we become the North East's most Active Roofers.
